Rodent isn’t a very pleasant name, well I guess the name is OK, but the visual isn’t that great. However, porcupines belong in this family and the collective noun for them is a prickle of porcupines and that is a fantastic name! Squirrels get a decent collective nouns with a scurry and a dray.
