Glacier Park in summer is a pretty awesome for photography in general and wildflowers specifically. Yes, I photographed flowers when I was in the park to go along with the landscape shots that I took and nothing “bad” happend so I guess I am getting more accustomed to photographing things that don’t move! I was very surprised by the huge variety of flowers in a single area. I felt like there were a hundred different flowers in an area the space of a decent sized yard!
I bought a newly published book about the flowers of the park and still cannot sort out all of the species. If you find one that is not identified and you recognize it let me know…please and thank you!
My goal was to find some interesting colors and then find a nice background and these are the images that I made.
You can see where I photographed the flowers in Glacier on this map.
