If you enjoy big cat photographer and have not yet gone for for tigers, nows your chance! Join is in India and you will purr over this cat-tastic photography workshop!

The Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is known for its wildlife, particularly the elusive tiger. Join us for an exclusive small group photography safari in which you will be staying in luxury accommodations within the jungles of India, seeking to find the best possible wildlife sightings.

You’ll visit three distinct safari camps in Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Pench National Parks. As usual, each passenger will have their own vehicle row to maximize photography opportunities.

At least 150 species of birds are in the parks, along with other mammals–tigers, sloth bear, langur monkeys, wild boar, mongoose, and three kinds of deer–Chital, Sambar, and Barking. Each vehicle will have local English-speaking guides to help identify all the wildlife.

At the end of a long safari day, take a hot shower and enjoy a drink by the fire before dinner, and just when you think the day is done, share your images with our instructor to learn more about your camera and compositional skills.

Our camps offer Muench-style comfort with all the expected amenities: fantastic food, luxurious accommodations with en-suite facilities, and hot showers. Expect to be immersed in photography and safari from sunrise until sunset.

Did you know that the majority of the land in Southeast Alaska lies within three miles of some of the most jaw-dropping coastline in North America? There is such an intimate relationship between land and sea in this region that the best way to see these magnificent waterways is by private yacht.

his is a very exclusive workshop. You’ll be joining a small group—only seven guests—of like-minded photographers and wildlife enthusiasts aboard one of the most outstanding small vessels in the region. You will learn and hone wildlife photography skills, easily capturing fast and slow-moving animals. We will work with you to make compelling compositions of the wildlife and the landscape it inhabits. We’ll have image reviews, and you will learn new techniques for post-processing in Lightroom. You’ll learn how to photograph swift eagles in flight or feeding humpbacks. We’ll teach the finer points of tracking, focusing, exposure, and composition. Expect warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, great food, and outstanding photographic opportunities!

Paris is lovely in May—the trees and flowers burst out of their winter sleep, and the city becomes palate of pastel colors. Photo opportunities abound as the city comes alive with an abundance of flower shows, festivals, street fairs, and fabulous outdoor flea markets.

You’ll visit hidden locations and iconic vantage points, learning and refining our camera techniques along the way. The cafés will beckon, and the aroma of freshly baked bread and french coffee will lure you, but nothing will stop us from capturing this beautiful city in the best light—during golden hour, blue hour, and into the night.

You will be taken to hidden locations and vantage points of the iconic places you wouldn’t see without our guidance. There’s plenty of street photography for a diverse, unique, and personal representation of the city. But nothing will be left to chance—we will bring our own model dressed in modern Parisien fashion to wander the subways, back alleys, and busy streets with us. We’ll even have a ballet-trained dancer on top of the Trocadéro with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.

Our quaint, upscale hotel is located in the Montmartre district, next to the famous Montmartre Cemetery, close to Sacré-Cœur and the Moulin Rouge. Enjoy drinks on the roof-top patio with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Join us in this magical city to stretch your skills with focus stacking, low-light, street, and black and white photography—while enjoying all the city has to offer!

Puffins, Gannets, and Dramatic Arctic Landscapes

Finnmark and Hornøya are situated above the Arctic circle at the northernmost part of Norway and continental Europe. The Norwegian coastline sweeps eastward here and is indented by rugged fjords. Finnmark is Norway’s largest and most sparsely populated county. Nature—especially birdlife—abounds here. We will explore and shoot the coast from Hornøya and Vardø all the way up to the old fishing village of Hamningberg.

Our workshop will be based in the seaside town of Vardø, an ideal jumping-off point to this land of the midnight sun. We’ll explore by comfortable private vehicle to some of our destinations and take small boats to others. Our goal will be to photograph various arctic birds (puffins, guillemots, terns, skuas, gannets, eagles, and many others), unique landscapes, and local color. This is a very remote area—while it is known only to Norwegian and a few European photographers, it is definitely on the top of their lists! We know where the wildlife is and where to put our sticks in the ground for amazing photographs!
