The photography at the Painted Hills is great and the star of the show is the cliffs and their bands of red and orange with a healthy splash of yellow and gold all of which are framed by lines of black, but wait there is more! In the spring there are also carpets of wildflowers to grab your photographers eyeball and make your shutter go click click click. I also found a few other things like birds and even a snake, so take some time to look down at the rest of the cool stuff to photograph at one of Oregon’s Seven Wonders, the Painted Hills.
