I was very excited the first time we saw this big bird and could not wait to get an image of one. Turns out that was not going to be a problem as they were quite common and in fact became a bit of a nuisance. They are so big (20″ tall) that they scatter all of the other birds when they come around. Still they are a very cool bird and make this crazy call.
