OK, boring “they” need to step it up with the collective nouns on this one. I still like a “howling” or perhaps an “eclipse” would be more relevant these days. A pack of wolves on the move is called a route” or a “horde”. At any rate this howling of wolves was photographed during my wildlife workshop in April near Yosemite National Park.

While there are a few wild wolves in California, these are back at home in Montana waiting so you’ll have to sign up for the workshop in October for your opportunity to photograph them with me.
